
My goal with the Better You Challenge is to improve as many lives as possible physically, spiritually, and mentally.

I believe the Lord blessed me to create this challenge, and it has blessed me enormously!
I feel blessed to pass it on to you and yours! Commit yourself to this challenge, and you will see results.

1. Time—Allow yourself at least 20 minutes in the morning to: (Avoid checking your phone, emails, texts, and social media except for the items listed below)
- Pray – ensure that gratitude and others are a significant focus.
- Read the Bible using the YouVersion Bible app: https://www.bible.com/app and Through the Word! https://throughtheword.org.
- Meditate – breathe! Stop talking and listen to what the Lord may say.
- Journal – write down a few people and things for which you are grateful that the Lord has blessed you. Also, journal what you gleaned from this time spent with the Lord. What did you learn? How will you apply it?
2. Motion—Max out on three sets of push-ups and sit-ups until failure, alternating between the two! Do one, then the other, rest for 30 seconds, then repeat! Add air squats to make it three exercises to raise the challenge, resting for 1 minute in between. To increase it even further, do five sets! Or join a gym.
3. Attitude—Before entering work, school, the gym, etc., determine your attitude.
4. Reminder—Set an hourly reminder to thank the Lord for life, family, work, breathing, and anything and everything that may come into your mind. Check your attitude at the moment and be mindful of your emotional state. Change it if it’s not what you said you wanted to have.
5. PRM—Pray, Read, and Meditate for at least 20 minutes before you fall asleep. Put your phone away unless you are reading from it, but immediately after reading, set it aside. Reflect on your day to identify things to repent for and areas to improve. Ask yourself if you truly did your best today. Write down three absolute blessings you noticed from your life that day or in general! I will be with you throughout the process; feel free to reach out in my DMs if you’d like.
